This fun and challenging chart was written to showcase a strong low alto soloist and dynamic rhythm section. There are several chances to feature soloists improvising over one or two chords, providing students with an opportunity to explore dramatic solo choices over static harmony. It has several repeating sections that are a quick learn, and balances those with a couple of key center and groove changes for added challenge.

The original small group arrangement was written by Michelle Nicolle (check out her album “Mancini”) and the vocal group adaptation was written by Kathryn Sherman.
