Dreamer

This SATB + piano arrangement of Laufey’s hit “Dreamer” is a sophisticated addition to any choral program. The introduction is just like the original recording, voiced in four-part harmony, and then the primary melody enters with a light swing feel. A soloist (or two!) can be featured on the opening lyrics, each section has moments where they carry the melody, and slight melodic variation in the second half leads to more advanced jazz harmonies and stylistic flourishes. This chart is a great way to introduce your choral ensemble to jazz concepts within the context of a popular song many of them already know and love.
