The Jazz Education Network conference is always on The Jazz Education Network conference is always one of my favorite ways to start the year — and this year, I was honored to be selected as one of the @jazzednet commissioned composers (alongside friend @annie_booth!). It was a joy to finally hear real people play the tune I composed months ago! As an added bonus, the group selected to premiere it was directed by my dear friend @marionelizabeth. 💙 Huge thank yous to JEN for the commission and @uncjazzvoice @uncjazz for a beautiful premiere.
